People hangover

If anyone needs me today, this is where I will be…

It has been a gloriously busy 5 days with lots of family and friends, food, travel, and good times. I am so fortunate and feel lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life, so many things to be grateful for, and so much good fortune. Especially in a time of year that is not always great for everyone out there.

With that said I am so happy to be home, to have quiet time, and to have space to recharge. I desperately needed it by the end of it all. I am looking forward to journaling, reading, checking out a new game, and enjoying a cup of sweet almond green tea from David’s tea (Ah-mazing, you need to try it!).

I wanted to mention a great place we tried out for breakfast in Edmonton called Rebel Food and Drink. I completely forgot to take a picture because I was so engrossed in enjoying it! We all had the breakfast skillet, 2 with meat and 2 vegetarian, and all loved it. Being the coffee fiend that I am, I was super impressed with their french press coffee! Most of the time I find places that do breakfast have mediocre coffee that is horrendously over priced. I loved that you had a french press brought to your table, which served 4 of us, and it was only $6.50! I hope they keep it reasonable and good quality, it will definitely keep me coming back for sure.

The service was great, the people were kind, food was done well, and the place had spectacular decor. I will definitely be back again.
